Maine Community Foundation Scholarships
450 awards • $2M+/year
Each year, the Maine Community Foundation awards 450 scholarships totaling more than $2 million.
Maine Competitive Skills Scholarship Program
Eligible Maine residents
CSSP helps eligible Maine residents pursue certificates and two- or four-year degrees leading to in-demand careers.
Nursing Program Scholarship
Nursing students • 15+ credits
The Ruth Milan Altrusa Scholarship supports eligible nursing students at Beal and select Maine schools who have completed at least 15 credit hours.
The Mitchell Scholarship
Maine graduating seniors
This scholarship helps graduating seniors from Maine public high schools make college more affordable.
Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE)
Eligible Maine families
HOPE helps Maine families overcome financial and practical barriers to education, training and their career goals.
Step-Up Scholarship
$1,500 • Returning Beal graduates
Eligible Beal graduates returning for another qualifying degree may receive $1,500 toward tuition and required fees. Up to 50 scholarships are available each year.
Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
Chamber-affiliated Beal students
This scholarship supports Beal students who own or work for an active Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce member organization.

Eligible students must be accepted into a qualifying bachelor’s or master’s degree program beginning in September 2026.
