The Beal University Learning Resource System (LRS) contains materials that support the students educational learning experience enabling them to meet their program objectives.  The LRS includes the library and its resources, computer labs and electronic tools, specialized software, textbooks, Wi-Fi, and internet.

The Beal University Library has both a physical and virtual presence, providing quality services and resources in support of the university’s academic programs. The objectives of the library is to ensure students have access to the resources necessary to ensure a successful educational experience. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to utilize the resources made available to them from the library and the library staff for educational, professional, and personal developmental purposes. The LRS includes materials appropriate to the course of student study, and are commensurate with the degree levels the school confers.

The learning resources are easily and readily accessible to students and faculty during and beyond classroom hours regardless of location or means of delivery.  All students, including in distance education, have access to EHOST database, Academic Search complete database and the CINAHL – Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature digital library platform.   The digital databases allow searching full text journals and e-books. Students have access to the collections 24 hours a day via the Internet. Beal University has implemented LibGuides, a web-based content management system, to assist faculty and students with their research. These guides are embedded into the student learning management system, CANVAS and can be accessed from any computer on campus, from their home computers and their smartphones or tablets.  The library works extensively with other local public and academic libraries in order to ensure resources are always available. Students and staff have access to the interlibrary loan program.
