
The Step-Up Scholarship is an institutional scholarship funded by Beal University. Its purpose is to support continued educational progression by assisting eligible Beal University graduates who return to the University to complete an additional degree.

Selection Criteria and Process: The Academic Council reviews completed applications and selects applicants who demonstrate educational progression through the successful completion of a prior Beal University credential and enrollment in an additional eligible degree program. Beal University may award up to 50 scholarships of $1,500 per year. Priority will be determined by the date on which each complete application was received.
*The Step-Up Scholarship is $1,500. Beal University may award up to 50 scholarships of $1,500 each per year. In the event there are more applicants than scholarship awards, scholarship recipients are chosen by the Academic Council based on the date that the application was received. Scholarship funds are credited directly to the recipient’s Beal University student account and may be applied only toward eligible tuition and required fee charges. Scholarship funds are not paid directly to the recipient and will not create a credit balance, cash payment, or stipend. The award may not exceed the recipient’s remaining eligible institutional charges, and any unused portion is forfeited. This scholarship may not be combined with another Beal University institutional scholarship unless the combination is expressly permitted by the published terms of the applicable scholarship or promotion and confirmed in writing by Beal University. When combination is permitted, total institutional scholarship assistance may not exceed the student’s remaining eligible tuition and required fee charges and will not result in a credit balance, cash payment, or stipend
