Beal University offers a 34-month* Biomedical Sciences Bachelor Degree for those not currently working in the biomedical science field. If you are already a healthcare professional with a completed Bachelor’s degree, you can obtain your Master’s in Biomedical Science in as little as 16 months*.

Biomedical Science – Bachelor’s Degree (34 Months*):

The 34-month* Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science is a foundational degree for those desiring to enter the medical field, but not work directly with patients. This program will prepare you for service in a variety of healthcare organizations, including pharmaceutical companies, laboratories and medical manufacturing businesses. Upon completion of this program, you will feel fully prepared to start a career as a Biomedical Sciences professional and continue to advanced doctoral degrees in medicine.

Biomedical Science – Master’s Degree (16 Months*):

If you’re looking to take your healthcare career to the next level or are looking to make a career change into the medical field, our 16-month* Master’s in Biomedical Science online degree program could be an excellent opportunity for you. Beal University designed the Biomedical Science program with a student-centric approach to allow the freedom of remote learning. Students will not feel alone, though. Beal’s support system is there to help students succeed within the program, and into their professional careers.

Students will not have to worry about missing out on a traditional learning experience. Group projects, discussion questions, and integrative assignments create an interactive curriculum. Graduates of the BS in Biomedical Science may choose to advance their medical studies by pursuing medical, physician assistant, osteopathic, dental or veterinary school. The BS in Biomedical Science curriculum is aligned with the principles and concepts assessed on medical entrance exams. Graduates may have the ability to apply to and take tests for programs such as medical or dental school, optometry school and veterinary school.

Pre-Med or Pre-Vet Pathway with St. George’s University

Beal University has established a direct-admission partnership with St. George’s University. The program establishes a pathway for qualified Beal graduates to gain immediate entry into the St. George’s Schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. Beal students may receive a conditional admittance to St. George’s University upon enrolling in the BS in Biomedical Science at Beal University.

Students must complete all undergraduate coursework, meet minimum grade point averages, and score competitively on requisite graduate entrance exams (MCAT). Veterinary students should also have completed the recommended 500 hours of animal experience. St. George’s University will waive application fees and fast-track students in the combined degree program for application review, interviews, and admission decisions.
